SOLANIN HOMELESS GALLERY
That’s another cultural event of this festival edition! This time the alternative exhibiton space will be given to the artists. Photography, graphics, drawings, paintings, sculpture, installations – each of this form is welcome in the Solanin Homeless Gallery!
The aim of the Homeless Gallery is to animate the unused, dilapidated and forgotten places by transforming them into the exhibiton space. The founders of the project are acknowledged Polish photographers – Tomek Sikora and Andrzej ¦wietlik. Homeless – due to the lack of permanent location, appears for a while, then disappears so as to reappear somewhere else. It can be found in each spot ready to house the art for some time.
The hallmark of the Homeless Gallery is the lack of inital selection. Its content depends solely on the self-censorship of the exhibitor. Not only don’t we select the artists (everyone is welcome), but the works either – no limits in terms of topic, technique, size or amount of the works.

Between the 19th and the 25th of August the Homeless Gallery will visit Nowa Sól during the Solanin Film Festival. Feel free to show your works here!
It will be located on Wrocławska Street 19. We would like to thank the Municipal Authorities and the Real Estate Agency and for the free access to the building.
