FESTIVAL LOCATIONS
ODRA Cinema
Nowadays, the only cinema in Nowa Sól. Before the World War II, this building was a hotel with a restaurant. After the war, building was rebuild twice and adjusted to the changing reality. In the 90s, the cinema was closed and séances were only during the vacations. Since 2001, the cinema is working at full speed and séances take place constantly. In 2008, the cinema has been entered on the list of Arthouse Cinemas Network and due to this fact, films from the catalog of this institution may be presented. Those films are mostly non-commercial, European, ambitious productions. Exactly this kind of movies will be projected during the 5th Solanin Festival non-competitive presentations.

The Culture Center of Nowa Sól
The Culture Center of Nowa Sól realises objectives in the field of culture, like organisation of certain competitions, reviews and festivals of the importance of the city, county, province and country. The most important cultural events are: Spring Rock Festival, Nowosolska Jesień Artystyczna, Solówka – Music Festival, certain literary competitions and the Days of Nowa Sól. Sections running in the Culture Center of Nowa Sól are: arts, literature, dance, music and vocals. During the Festival, competitive films will be presented in the Culture Center.

Municipal Public Library
The beautiful, renovated, historic, 20th century villa, which was originally built for the factory director Gruschwitz Textilwerk. Now it is the place of the Main Library, Department of collecting and compiling Collection, and Administration. There is also an art gallery and meeting room for authors. In the second building library for children is located. The entire complex is illuminated and monitored. In the Municipal Public Library competitive films will be presented.

Kaflowy MusicCafe
The youngest but at the same time the fastest developing pub in Nowa Sól, run by Krzystof Kluba. During the week, it is a nice café, in which with a cup of coffee some decent films may be seen, during the weekends, it becomes a place of meetings and cultural events – mostly concerts – from heavy sounds of the underground, through hip-hop parties, up to all types of electronic music. This big, two-floors building is always open for unusual events and associating specific people, for whom siting and only drinking beer is boring and who want to do something more, to see something, to listen to something. The Kaflowy team has predispositions, power and will to ensure it!
